  • I tried other similar page loader and preloader plugins along side this one. There were glitches with the others, where this one just works. Just remember that if your theme updates, the new theme version might replace or update the header.php file so if that happens you’ll have to go into the new header.php and re-enter the <div id="wptime-plugin-preloader"></div> into that new or updated header.php.

    Also, I found really good preloader images for free, and at reasonable cost with good features for creating and customizing some of my own at https://loading.io (I don’t work for them or anything. I just liked the site and found it useful.)
