• Hi,
I downloaded mo- und po-File for German to translate the fixed texts of this theme.
I customized it locally since there are missing translations and my translations were not confirmed until now.

I use the latest version 2.1.8 of this theme.

I found out that some texts are not translatable:
(since I added a translation for “Leave a comment” and it is not displayed). Maybe because it is a header line with capital letters?
    ‘Add comment’
(the only occurence is a hard-coded one in profitmag-functions.php, line 563)
    ‘WRITE SOMETHING…’
    (a hardcoded placeholder in profitmag-functions.php, line 561)

Is it possible to add the translatable code to the next version you release in future? I don’t want to change this in theme editor since the next version you release will overwrite my changes again.

    Kind regards
    Christine

  • Hello @chriger,

The theme is already translation ready and can be translated to any language .

For the translation you can in your theme file you can find the .pot file in profitmag > languages > profitmag.pot. Using this file you can translate to any language you want.

For this you can use any gettext editor software like :

    https://poedit.net/

You can download the software where you can see many option for the translation.
Now you can choose Create new translation and it will create the file in the theme making your theme translation ready.

After creation of the required .mo file from the pot file, you can use it to use the theme in the translated language by switching your language from WordPress Dashboard.

Also please go to Dashboard -> Settings -> General and on the bottom you can see Site Language option change it to your language.

    Hope this Helps,

And if you want more dedicated and swift support on the theme, please visit the theme’s official support forum where the theme’s official support team are stand by to answer each and every one of your questions.

    Hello wensolutionsupport.
You did not understand what I mean.
I already use the .po- and .mo-files und use poedit to insert translations which are not yet made or confirmed on official translation site.

I have the problem that configured translations are not present on the website.

Ok, I will open a question at themepalace.

    Best regards
    Christine
