textarea issue in mozilla

  • Hi,
    textarea is not showing correctly in mozilla i given 40×5 it shows equal with in other fields at chrome but mozilla its width is more then other fields.

    Both sizes are different in two browsers.chrome is fine but not in mozilla.

    Have you reset your styles.? What is the site URL ? This could happen if you haven’t reset your styles first. Are you using a CSS Framework like Bootstrap or your own ?

    If it is your own, you must check whether have you reset browser specific styles.

    i’ve used any custom style for text area am using bootstrap only

    In your textarea I can see that you have used 41 cols while input fields have 40. Whether you have mentioned you are using 40×5 I can see that you are using 41×5.

    Check and change it. That will solve your problem.

    whatever it is. see in chrome and mozilla. why both browsers are different width ?
