Textarea doesn’t break lines

Hi, can you send the link of the page you’re experiencing issue with?
By default, it should work. I just checked and the text area breaks the line by default when pressing the enter key.

Do you mean that it doesn’t do it when you are typing in the field or that even though it does work in the field, it’s not reflected in submission/notification?

If it’s the first case then it would mean that “something” (may it be other plugin or some custom code or some JS optimization option on site) is causing conflict there.

Could you share a link to the page with the form so we could take a look and check it, please?

i can break lines in the text area on the form itself.
but indeed it doesn’t reflect this in the email that i receive.

Thanks for response and additional explanation.

If it’s working “visually” on front-end but not in e-mail then it’s a known issue. It’s a side-effect of specific XSS protection (via input sanitization) that was added to the plugin some time ago.

Our developers are already working on a fix for this and if everything goes fine and the fix passes QA tests it should be included in upcoming (or the nearest one after it) release of Forminator.
