hi, when a data is saved in a textarea, the string contains inside the paragraph tags: <p> … saved-string … </p>.
Is it a bug? Is there any way to avoid this?
    Thank you

    Hey @mimmo99

Do you mean the user Bio field?

If so, then you might find this info helpful:

    https://purothemes.com/documentation/general-wordpress/allow-post-author-bio-html-markup/

Otherwise, if you are referring to a custom textarea field, we are not allowed to speak about the paid version here, so please open a support ticket for this.

    With best regards,
    Gabriel

Thanks, yes, I refer to the bio field.
If I insert plain text during registration, without any markup, in visualization, on the profile page, I see the <p> tags.

    Hi @mimmo99

    Two questions:

    1. Where is that screenshot from, where do you see it?
    2. How are you editing that field? Using the PB form?

I have just tried this on my test rig, even looked in the database, and there are no paragraph tags, just the original string.

    With best of regards,
    Gabriel

    Hi, so:
    1. In the profile page/ user listing single page
    2. Yes, with the your edit form plugin

    Thanks

    Hello @mimmo99

Please look into the database, and see that it’s probably without the paragraph tags.

If so, then the problem is related to the User Listing, but it is not part of the free version, but only in Pro, we are not allowed to speak about this here.

So please contact us via our forementioned support ticket system. Please also link to this topic so that we can remember the context.

    Best regards,
    Gabriel

Hi @gabrielberzescu I solved, if it can help, the problem was that I only used 2 braces “{{” for the textarea and not 3 “{{{“.

    Bye
