Text Wrapping Issue

  • I have a large Ordered List on my wordpress site and I cant seem to achieve a certain format for some of my text. Here is an example of one of the list items:

    1. Claim – “The takeover could raise your property taxes just to fund the cost of the acquisition”.

    Rebuttal – They fail to mention that any taxes/bond use to buy Golden State Water Company will result in a reduction in water rates far in excess of any tax…..

    I am trying trying to get it so that nothing is under the words “Claim” and nothing is under the words “Rebuttal”. I want the text to wrap under the first words after. So it would be its own paragraph a little to the right. I hope this makes sense, its hard to explain. I can’t seem to achieve this in the editor. I am VERY familiar with CSS and HTMl so any work arounds are welcome.

  • Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

    I appreciate your energy but that was a horrible reply, and for you being paid to monitor this forum, that was the laziest answer I have ever seen in my life. Firebug which works with chrome as well (not just firefox) would not tell me what I needed to do to solve this issue, it would show me the current CSS…..which would not be a constructive problem solving method….thanks anyway.

    your question is about a pure formatting issue, and without seeing your site, the answer given by @esmi is the standard reply you would also get from me.
