Text Wrap Around Images

  • Hello,

    Looked through the forums and the codex and have tried some of what is out there to no avail. In short I can’t wrap text around images. Fairly certain the theme is just not that good to start with and a change is in the works, but, I really need to get this working.

    Yep. Already tried that. Didn’t work.

    The image on the problem page does not have any of the alignment classes required to float it left or right, which is essentially what you need in order for text to wrap around the image.

    If your theme has the necessary styles already, then all that’s left to do is to edit the post/page and re-insert the image again, but this time choosing the alignment in the media uploader window (this will append the necessary attributes to the inserted image code), which should then resolve the non-wrapping issue.

    In the editor you won’t see the associated code if you’re using Visual mode, but basically it’s just missing an attribute, and the most simple method to fixing that is to remove the image and reinsert, choosing the appropriate alignment settings when doing so. Alternatively i’m sure we could modify it directly in HTML mode, but my aim was to keep it simple, so i’ll leave the choice of approach up to you.. ??
