Text widgets not working

    Hi,

    No text widgets that contain text or code are working anymore. They were working last week, but for some reason, their content has disappeared from my Home Page and Footer. My website is: tribaljewelryonline.com.

    Your help is much appreciated.

  • Have you made any changes that may have caused this issue? Can you provide a few more details regarding which widgets you’re using, and which code is within those widgets?

    Thank you. I have not changed anything; I have the exact same plugins I’ve always had – no new additions. The widgets I’m referring to are the wordpress text widgets (under “Appearances”) and site origin text widgets (used on my Home Page). The code within the widgets contain Amazon ad code that has always worked (I’m not sure exactly what type of code it is – I don’t know much about code language). I think it might have something to do with updates in the Virtue theme.

    Do you have an adblocker enabled? I am able to see all of the amazon ads on your site, but not when an adblocker is active.

    Can you confirm you’re viewing the site with an adblocker disabled?

    Hi Kevin, I do not have an adblocker enabled to my knowledge (I’m not sure how to check for this, but I did not enable one). I usually work on my site in a private browser and the ads used to be visible. However, after your last response, I checked, and although the ads are no longer visible in the private browser, they do show in the public browser. So I’ll close this issue and consider it resolved. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It was very helpful.
