Text Widget not Working/Showing

  • Hi Guys,

    so I just migrated a site to a new server (which was major havoc) and now my last item is the right side bar. it will display all other widgets, except the Text widget. WHY? I have ttried deleting it and readding it, but nothing. I put another widget below it, and it just seems as if it isnot even there.

    Please help!!!

  • Have you tried temporarily deactivating all plugins to see if that helps?

    Are you seeing the text widget in the page source (use a tool like Chrome developer tools or Firebug)?

    Hi, I just did that. Turns out to be the widget controller? It does show up in the code, but only when the widget controller is turned off. It is working with the widget controller on on my original test site.

    BUT

    now the styles are gone, it has some basic styling, but the font size, etc is gone…

    what must I do?
