Text truncated WITHIN page editor

  • I write a Page in the Page editor.

    I click ‘save’.

    The Page editor reloads with the successful “changes saved” message at the top of the screen …

    … but only the first 20 or so lines of the Page appear in the editor window. The rest have just vanished. Truncated.

    There’s nothing about this Page that makes it different from the dozens of other on the site.

    I’ve tried to save it multiple times, logged in and out, disabled plugins … nothing works.

    Any ideas?

    (The visual text editor is turned off, and I’m not trying to insert and PHP)

    So … no one in WordPressLand has experienced anything like this?

    I’ve lost hours of work by making edits in the “Write Page” editor, and having most of the work just vanish which I click save.

    This sounds like the same character encoding issue I’m dealing with right now. Chances are your post is truncating right before a character php is exploding on. I’ll update if I find a decent fix.
