In the editor of the admin area of wordpress how can i change text sizes so headers can be bigger and text can be smaller? There is bold and italic and everything but I cant seem to figure out how to get text to change size. How can I achieve changing the size of the text?

  • This is normally done via css. You can edit the style.css of your theme to do this.

I know I can achieve this with editing the CSS file and that does style it, however, after the site is done and the client takes over it would be nice if they could set “h1” and “h2” tags inside their posts and pages on their own without knowing any html. I just don’t see how you can make some text bigger than other text in the editor. Is there a way you can set “h1” and “h2” tags in the editor?

If you enable the 2nd row of icons (kitchen sink), you get a dropdown with the heading levels in there

That allows you to define text as header (h1-h6).

That in combniation with the editor stylesheet allows for the headings to be applied / formatted within the editor
