• I am using free ELEM and free ASTRA. I have copiedNpasted two short paragraphs from Word into an ELEM “text widget.” The text size is TOO BIG. The “typography” setting for this widget is font=ROBOTO and on the size “slider” it is at PX=1. In short, it can only get bigger, not smaller.

I can’t find any help on web other than to use “typography settings.” What to do? And U cannot contact ELM without an account, and U cannot get an account with their “free” version.

  • Text copied from Microsoft Word (and other external sources) will often have embedded style which will override any external style you specify in the editor. So it may be this embedded/inline style from the Word document that’s controlling the size.

To avoid this, use PASTE AS TEXT in Elementor editor when pasting your text from Microsoft Word (or any other external source) to have the embedded styles stripped off.
