How could I make text shadows appear not only in Firefox but Internet explorer also?

Would I have to create a if[IE] line to my header file?
to direct IE users to that specific stylesheet?

  • I am pretty sure IE does not show text-shadow. Maybe IE9 but none of the earlier ones.

    text-shadow is css 3
    only supported patchily in IE

how can i update to css 3?
    check out this site:
    themelab.com
The text shadows work in both browsers for me.
My site currently has text shadows in firefox but not IE -_-
    how can I fix that?

You don’t update to css3, the browsers do. CSS3 was created before IE8, 7, 6, etc so they were not implemented into the browser. The only way you can see text shadows is if you have IE9 which does not launch for a while.
