• I changed some of the text in my settings and the changes show in admin but don’t take effect on a front end page. The changes in Manage Database Fields work, I’m just having this problem in the settings section.

I added a thank you page, it forwards correctly. It does not show any text with the shortcode pdb_signup_thanks

I also changed the text for No Records Message. It shows correctly in settings but has not taken effect in the page. Same for the email text it sends me when I have a new signup.

    It is a multi site.

When I save changes it’s also routing me to a the log in screen. But i’m logged in.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I tried submitting an entry form a different computer not logged in. Still no joy.

I haven’t seen these problems in my tests. The symptoms you describe could be caused by caching: normally the backend isn’t cached, but if it is, what can happen is the login info can get stale and then when you try to submit data, it thinks you’re not logged in. This can also happen if the settings page is open for a long time (like an hour or more) before submitting changes.

On the front end, old settings can be in place in the cache, so the new settings don’t show up.

Also, when using multisite, the settings for each sub-site are different…make sure you’re changing the settings in the same site you are testing.

I don’t know if any of this helps, without actually seeing the problem in my tests, I can’t be specific.

I checked several things. I cleared the cache in my browsers, I don’t have anything caching wordpress. I only have this activated on one of the sites in my multi site.

I’m getting this error when I load a page with a list

Fatal error: Call to a member function replace() on null in /wp-content/plugins/participants-database/vendor/wp-session-manager/includes/DatabaseHandler.php on line 123

It might be another plug in not playing nice, the cache might be GoDaddy. I’m letting it sit for a couple days.

That error was filtering off my log, I just noticed that while debugging,
