• So…. when MarinaVillage.net is viewed in IE9+, the three headers at the bottom (links to go to featured pages), should read:

Our Marina | Weddings | Meetings

Currently, people are reporting those three headers being inverted, like there’s another layer of text on top of it upside down. Firefox? Fine. Chrome? Fine. IE8 or lower? All good. This error only appears (as far as I can tell) when it’s viewed in IE9+. Normally I’d say “well just use another browser”, but when my boss+++ is saying “Hey, what’s up with that”… well, I’d rather fix the issue.

    Any ideas?

Okay! So I’ve figured out at least the problem: when you go to create a new post, and type the title of the post, that specific title shows up inverted when the page is viewed in IE9+.

I can’t remove the title/header entirely as that destroys my navigation.

Can’t figure out if it’s a plugin, a style issue, or what, but at least I know what the issue is.

    Help?

Update! It appears to be a bug in the theme (Bamboo). User “rayloc” posted on this same topic. Not sure if he has found a resolution.

Another update: IE provides the option of “compatibility view”. If you select that, it makes the styles compatible with IE9.

Meanwhile – have emailed the author of the theme (Ivanov).

Hi Larissa, I checked your website and see that you fixed the problem. I have the same issue using the Bamboo theme and was wondering what you did. I updated the Typeface .js but it only seems to fix it after I hit the refresh button ??
