It’s possible that you’re still assigning a sidebar through the template in the page attributes section of the page edit screen.

If you can post a link to the page in question, I’ll be able to tell you whether or not this is the case.

Thanks so much, Kevin, for answering. Makes sense, only I cannot find the section where I set page attributes. This page shows what it is doing on all but the Home page:

This should explain how your page is configured with the sidebar template.

You’ll want to go in and choose the fullwidth template like this:
