Text Link Formatting not consistent

Not sure if this is fluida theme-related or buddypress related, but I’m baffled why the text formatting changes from the bp activity areas to other areas of the bp system.

My member dashboard as the rest of the site text is formatted:

https://songdove.fa-ct.com/stuff/bpissues/greenlinksformattedothertabs.jpgThe blue formatting is tighter than the green formatting, but as you can see, when bp uses the blue, it doesn’t merely change it for bp, it also changes it for my sitewide sidebars. I clicked around the rest of the sitewide menu at the top, and this blue formatting doesn’t show up anywhere else, only inside bp and so far it seems to be only the activity areas.
