Everything works except the Text Field under Layout Elements when you use it as a “Terms of Service”

What happens is that it absorbs the next fields after that when you click Save.

    reCAPTCHA,
    Submit

Anyways, through learning about click through rates, I got rid of the terms of service in my contact form.

I tried all the other popular ones and Ninja Forms is by far the best.

I’m sorry for the trouble you’ve had! I can’t reproduce that issue locally at all, but I’d love to help you through it on your site. What content are you putting in the text layout element? If you open a support ticket with us (we fully support Ninja Forms core) I’d love to get you up and running. Our support form can be found at https://ninjaforms.com/contact/

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and share your experience with our users. I hope for the opportunity to serve you further soon.

Thank you for your reply Wpnzach,

    ??

I ended up deleting the plugin but then reinstalled it after trying 4 others. Ninja forms by far is the best out of the other popular ones.

I will be changing my 1 star review.

Through my further research I learned about conversion rate killers. And how asking people to do to much on a contact form makes them leave the site. Makes sense as that’s what I do/did on Ninjas support form prior to the above post in WP forum’s. Like everyone (unfortunately) I’m too busy to wait or create a contact form to work.

So I am grateful that Ninja forms did/doesn’t work as described above. As I learned about click through rates with contact forms. I get the concept about landing pages and it only makes sense to transfer that knowledge into a contact form. So I removed the “Text area element” for my T.o.S. and created a shorter form.

I understand that you could not reproduce the results. Could be a glitch in the matrix with other plugins.

Thank you so much for your attention. I do appreciate what you guys and gals do for a living. We’d all be lost without you. Yes I am busy, but to show appreciation I always will make time for.

Wish you, friends and family and colleagues too, a great rest of the week and Fun weekend!

    Cheers!

Wow, thank you so much for coming back and updating your review! It means a lot to us!!

As an aside, I talked with our developer to confirm, and we think the HTML in your text layout area my have had a tag left open. That’s the only behavior we can think of that might cause that weird behavior. If you ever want to try it again we’d be happy to look at it with you to get you up and running quickly!

Thanks again, and please let us know if we can do anything more for you!
