Text is not showing up on page?

This is probably best achieved by adding the text to the very end of your child theme’s header.php template file.

If I add it to the header.php will it appear on all pages? I only wish for the text to appear on our blog page.

Try something like:

<?php if( is_home() ):?>
[ add text here ]
<?php endif;?>

Didn’t pop up anywhere?

Are you able/allowed to have static text on the blog page? We just really want to convey the message to our donors that we try and be as transparent as possible with them as possible.

Yes – you can do whatever you want if you are using a custom or child theme. WordPress does not impose any limitations. Are you perhaps using a caching plugin?

Yes. It look like WP Super Cache…

Try deactivating it (as per the plugin’s documentation) or flushing the cache.

Still didn’t work, even after I deactivated the Cache – not sure what’s going on.

The blogs not the front page…

I think you need to clarify exactly what you mean by “the blog page”.
