    Beloved Others,

    I’ve got a Facebook Like button on my site – not that it gets used much, of course. Well, every full moon, I think. Anyway – it was tricky enough placing it there, in a (text) widget.

    But the very naughty text is running off of my widget, off of my sidebar, and even off of my whole page. No amount of calling it back has helped.

    I cannot find that text “Sign up to see what your friends like” in the text widget – I think Facebook puts it there in the code you must paste to have the button. Since I cannot find it, I cannot put paragraphs in it.

    Does anyone know what I can do to solve this nightmare? I haven’t been sleeping, am on Xanax, 9 sessions a week with shrink, lost my job as a consequence, and my entire family. Living from shoe box, now.

    Thank you,

    Sharlot

    Which plugin are you using for FB?

    Looks like the width is in the code here:

    <iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" style="border: medium none; overflow: hidden; height: 26px; padding-top: 3px; padding-left: 10px; width: 330px;" src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=https://www.actionscriptmoron.com&layout=standard&show_faces=true&width=450&action=like&colorscheme=light&height=80">

    Brilliant, yogi. That did it.
    I’d prefer to get rid of the whole “sign up” text altogether, but I guess it’s Facebook plugging that in, somewhere, and it’s beyond my control.

    However, I’ve decreased the width, and now things look most acceptable.

    Thank yuo!
