    Go into ajax.php and change the string

    <span class="sf-foundcount">%d results</span> out of <span class="sf-totalcount">%d posts</span>

    in Line 302

    into
    <span class="sf-foundcount">%d results</span> out of <span class="sf-totalcount">%d whatevers</span>
