Text formatting Recipe excerpt

    Hi everyone,

    since the last update of the plugin, it is no longer possible to format the recipe excerpt.

    Previously, the text could be highlighted in bold or centered, for example. Now only the HTML code + text is displayed.

    Is this problem already known?

    Hey there @charmageddon, I noticed the same thing yesterday. The recent release included numerous security fixes, which unfortunately led to the security measures being a bit too restrictive. I am planning on including a fix in the next release.

    thank you for the quick response.

    Is there a time horizon when the correction will be released?

    A small comment on recipe creation in general: it would be very helpful if the text tool was available at the individual recipe steps with a mouse click and you didn’t have to work with the HTML codes.

    @charmageddon Well ever since taking over maintenance I have not settled into a regular release cycle just yet. I’m hoping I can get it ready in the next couple of weeks or so. As for your suggestion, I agree, it would be nice to have a WYSIWYG editor in any text field that accepts HTML formatting. I will also try to include this in the next upcoming release.

    @charmageddon just a follow up. I have fixed the issue and included the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor in the excerpt and the individual direction fields. These changes will be included in the next release.

    Version 1.8.1 was just released that should fix this issue and includes TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor in the excerpt and the individual direction fields.
