text formatting not appearing

  • This is really weird…
    When i format text (bold, italic etc) .. the formatting does not appear when viewing the index page. BUT, it DOES appear on the single post page. This only happens with the theme that i’ve chosen (versatility light) … all is OK with the default theme. I have_not tweaked the index or single page template files…

    Seems like and issue with this them but, I am using this theme on another site on the same server no problems!

    …. note that the formatting is_there when you look at the post (the first one) on it’s own page.

    Looks like your theme’s index.php template file uses the_excerpt() instead of the_content(). I’d suggest swapping it out but I doubt it would look good on your front page.
