    Yes, just create the field with “password” as the field type. Just don’t call the option name “password”. Then you will get a password field type and it will be stored as plain text.

    I tried that but it was stored as the password which was changed when I approved the user
    I checked the database table and I didn’t find the option name that I selected

    It would be in the wp_usermeta table.

    yes I check there it’s not there at all.
    not in the edit user screen either
