The Tailor page builder looks promising but I can’t move an inch testing it because it simply refuses to break text into paragraphs. The one-big-paragraph-only result happens when I import straight text from Notepad or when I type text in by hand; and clicking the auto-add-paragraphs selector makes no difference either.

When I enter the text widget’s Title section, that works. Changes in the wording or spacing of the title works fine. But the content section will not permit or recognize separate paragraphs.

The only other content I tried to enable was an image linked to open another image, and that worked fine.

    — I am using Firefox and have never had this text problem with any other page or app.
    — I am testing on a new local Bitnami WordPress Stack install that has presented no text or other problems with any other page builder I tested, or with the Generate Press theme or any other theme.
    — No other plugins are enabled, none.
    — Restarting the computer didn’t help.
    — Starting with another clean new page didn’t help.
    — I tried right-clicking the preview and opening “inspect” but could spot no errors.

Hope this is an easy fix.

As usual, I discovered a fix too late and could not delete my ticket.

If I just insert a text widget into a sections, the editor won’t allow paragraphs. But if I insert a box into the section, and then insert the text widget inside the box, the text editor will allow paragraphs.
