Ok, so really what we need are Quicktags, not text tools. Ideally, a checklist so I could enable which buttons I want (B, I, link, image, b-quote, ul, superscript, subscript (for foreign languages and math notation))

Sorry, I’ve learned more about this since I posted this original request!

    Hi getmechamot,
I’m sorry but we have a lot to do, we can’t add this feature during this month. It may be available on December.

Yes it will be very cool with any basic text tools.

This feature is already created. Please wait for next 3.2.6 version.

I cannot find the text tool in the new update.

    Selenii,
I am about to load this onto my test server to see for myself, but I have a question – did you purchase the emoticon add-on, or are you just looking at the new version without the add-on?

No no I am lookin at the new version without the add-on.

I was afraid of that and I suspect that it’s not in the paid add-on as it would show up in their screenshot! It really bugs me – I see the buttons I need in the form I am using to type this comment in, but the main product doesn’t have them! ??

I just posted a question in the pre-sales section for the emoticon add-on, but I fear we’re out of luck. I have a plugin called Basic Comment Quicktags, but it doesn’t work with WpDiscuz. I’ll let you know what I hear!

    Thank you

We’ve already added information on wpDiscuz > Addons page. The comment Quick-Tags will be available in next release. it’ll not be an Addon, it’ll be built-in free wpDiscuz core function with an option to enable and disable.
