Text editor stopped working with 1.0.2 and WP 4.7

  • Hey
    I upgraded WordPress SE 4.7 and Elementor 1.0.2. The text editor just stopped working regarding editing text. I can add Text elements and all other elements seem to work. Can anyone help me with this.

    Urgent project that needs to be updated and now all text elements is impossible to edit for me.

    Have you tried the basic troubleshooting technique of disabling ALL plugins EXCEPT Elementor and then enable them one by one to see which one may be causing a conflict>?

    I am using the latest WP 4.7 along with EL 1.0.2 on many sites with not problems ??

    It worked first and then it just stopped working.

    I have deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce and nothing matters. I have installed the MCE Advanced text editor and it does not effect the effect.

    I found that one of the themes plugins for shortcake generator prevented the Elementor editor. The name of the plugin is “Imaginem Themes Shortcode Generator r7”.

    I also saw that there is two 404 not found errors on the page for:

    1) plugins/elementor/assets/lib/backbone/backbone.radio.min.js.map
    2) plugins/elementor/assets/lib/backbone/backbone.marionette.min.js.map

    I don’t know what this does but now the editor seem to work but not together with the themes shortcake plugin which obviously affects the tinymce editor.

    No I didn’t take the time to do that.
