Text Editor problem

  • Hi;

    Beaverbuilder lite seems to be having an intermittent problem in my installation. Wondering if you know of this issue and how to fix it.

    The text editor has intermittent trouble keeping a line feed. I hit the enter key twice to start a new paragraph. The line feed appears to work fine until I save. After pressing save, about half the time paragraph line feed I enter disappears pulling the text up directly beneath the previous line, instead of giving me a double spaced new paragraph.

    Any idea how to correct this?

    Just as a quick follow up, when I use the WordPress native text editor, I do not have this problem.

    Here is a link to one of the pages. It is the text block just above the footer:

    There should be double spaces between paragraphs.

    Thanks for posting!

    I just tried the same thing on my end and it works fine. Check the screenshot below for reference.

    And yes, it remained that way after publishing the post. Can you try doing the same thing on the native WP editor and see if it works there?

    Thanks for posting. Good to know someone is out there to help.

    Discovered that if I manually place ” ” I can get the paragraphs. It simply won’t do it from the visual screen.

    And, yes, it woks correctly in the wordpress native editor, and holds when I switch back to the Beaverbuilder editor.

    Ah, gotcha! Something else may be causing it. Perhaps a 3rd party plugin. You could try disabling all other plugins to isolate the issue.

    But yes, you can manually add nonbreaking spaces on the text tab to force spaces. ??
