Text editor loses focus after 1 character

  • When trying to type or edit existing text, the cursor automatically loses focus, and at time you aren’t even able to click on the block to focus. Here is a screen recording showing the issue: https://i.imgur.com/sQHX7Xi.mp4

    This issue occurs on Gutenberg version 15.1 and above, 15.0.1 doesn’t have this issue.

    I see a console warning for addRange(), everytime it loses focus or doesn’t allow me to get focus.

    Hi @dvapps you are working on a multisite?
    It’s likely that the plugin is conflicting with something else on your site, can you troubleshoot to narrow down this issue further?

    Please attempt to disable all plugins and just keep Gutenberg, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles. If you can install plugins, and install and activate Health Check

    It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health. On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off, and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
