• Recently I upgraded to WordPress 2.8 and at first everything seemed to have survived. However, today I discovered that the text in the editing box disappears when I try to post. In addition the HTML window is greyed out and can’t be accessed.

I can paste or write text in the editing box OK, but when I go to post the text disappears and only the post title actually appears on the blog. When I try to edit an older article, the new edits also disappear.

With the fairly obvious exception that I can’t edit or post new blogs, or see them in HTML, everything else appears to be working OK. Deactivating plug-ins hasn’t had any impact either.

Whilst this problem is obviously linked to the WordPress upgrade, I’m not sure if it’s a WordPress problem, an issue with my theme (WPremix v2.3) or with my host (www.netregistry.com.au) – which is why I’m posting this query in the support forums for all three.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Alex
