Text descriptors gone in IE (in and out of compatibility mode)

I have also just became aware of this and am searching for a solution. a client says the field descriptors are blank and users dont know what to put in the fields. seems like an IE thing, but its kinda vital

This is not yet resolved with the latest production release. Is anything in the dev pipeline which addresses the issue?

What solved this for me is that I realized that the plugin actually works ok, its that my theme was designed in a way where the author did not register or enque his javascript files with wordpress correctly. This happens a lot with new authors , who later figure this out and fix in later versions of the theme. I went back to Themeforest and downloaded the latest version of the same theme (free) and in this version the issue with jQuery conflicts was fixed and the stripe plugin actually works now.

So either see if the author has an updated version of the theme, or simply identify which .js files the theme calls and ensure that the files are registered in wordpress functions.php file.
