    Hi,

I am having issues with the text color of hyperlinks not showing up in my post, Tags not updating, auto-saving, and scheduling posts.

Browser: Chrome, Operating System: Windows, Theme: Infinite Editor: Elementor

Critical Error message: The scheduled event, jetpack_sync_cron, is late to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

After reading the critical error, I uninstalled the JetPak plugin which is reconnected. However, I still have an issue with updating, and the text color of hyperlinks still doesn’t appear in my most recent published post. After the word eBook, is inserted a link to The Overcomer In You and after the word, still there is a hyperlink for the Bible verse Psalm 46.

Don’t know how to resolve. Guidance is needed. Thank you. Beatrice

    Hi there,

For the issue with hyperlink text color not displaying properly, it’s most likely related to your theme or Elementor settings rather than Jetpack. Since you’re using Elementor, you should check the style settings for hyperlinks within Elementor itself.

Tag updates, auto-saving, and scheduling posts can be affected by the missed scheduled event. This could be caused by the WP-Cron system not working correctly on your site. To address this, you can try the following:

    1. Verify that your timezone settings in WordPress are correct.
    2. Check if any caching plugins or server-side caching might be preventing WP-Cron from working properly.
    3. Use a plugin like WP Control to view and manage cron events.

The critical error message about?jetpack_sync_cron?can also be due to server issues. You may want to contact your hosting provider to ensure the server’s cron system is functioning as expected. This makes sense as the Jetpack connection is broken, reporting a 500 error that’s indeed related to some settings being off at the server’s end.

If none of these steps resolve your issues, please reply to this thread with further details. Cheers!

Thank you for your response. In draft mode the color of hyperlinks are blue. However, in the published version the hyperlinks show up as the color of the text. Steps: Open post in Elementor, clicked on hamburger left corner, site >settings, >topography,> buttons, link.

    Hi @garrettbeatrice,

Have you checked the Elementor settings to see if you can change it from there? Site builders usually overwrite any other layout settings, so it’s possible that you need to change it from there.

Let me know how you get on.
