    G’day Dragonfly-CA,

Wow, someone still uses this plugin! OK…

So I’m a little surprised about this, because I just tested an image with a Unicode-rich description and caption (i.e. including some Simplified Chinese characters) and had no problem with it, either in the Plogger admin or in the front-end view through this plugin.

Can you provide a link to the page where things are messed up? I can look at what’s going on with it then.

Also, can you confirm that your database tables are UTF-8 encoded, either as utf8 or utf8mb4? It might be a problem with encoding in the database.

    cheers,
    Ross

Yes, someone still uses your plugin – Thank you!

After 7 years, we’re finally upgrading our website, but we still need to maintain the Plogger collections. Here’s the link:

    https://pfmagazine.com/a/

We use Plogger in our Winners Gallery here: https://pfmagazine.com/p-gallery/
(Thanks to your plugin it works just fine).

I’m not sure how I would transfer 12 collections, 48 albums, 21119 images, and 1664 comments to a new gallery plugin.

The site reads just fine when the plugin is deactivated. I’ve double-checked, and yes the database is UTF-8.

Thank you so much for any help you can give.

    All my best,
    ~ Tamra
