Text changed to italics, Please help

  • Hi, my site is here: https://derekburrows.net/WordPress. Yesterday I made a change to some text and make the text italics and for some reason the whole month is now in italics. I have gone in and selected the text and make it plain text but that doesn’t seem to help at all. Can anyone help me figure this out? I haven’t done anything to the mail file and apart from first of all making the text bold then intalics and then changing it all back everything else is as it was.

  • Sorry, I refuse to look at a site that has such an unfriendly long main page. Cut the number of posts shown on the main page to 5-8, and somebody might be able to help.

    Stop using the wysiwyg – that’s the cause for your troubles.

    I agree! I dumped the page when it was at mid-May posts and was only half finished loading.

    That’s what archive are for guy, dump that stuff.

    OK guys, point taken. I’m not sure why you are in mid May as the only page that comes up should be August then everything else is in archives. I’ve been reducing the page since I got the first posting but thanks for your comments.

    The post at the bottom of your main page is dated: 04.07.06
    That’s not August in my books…

    And in your latest posts after this: “The photos were not an illusion but real to them.” there must be a an open <i> or <em> that is never closed. Remove it.
    And as I said above: do NOT use the wysiwyg – that’s why you get such idiotic results…

    Ok thanks for the help. You are right Moshu, I thought it would archive itself but obviously it doesn’t and I’m not sure how to do this but I’ll play with it and see what works.

    It does archive itself. Visit Options -> Reading and look at the very top option shown.

    Great, thanks HandySolo. I knew there was a way to do this and forgot about that section. I must have changed that in the past for some reason but now I’ve got it.
