• Hello. I really hope you can help me.

I need to add new text so click TEXT BLOCK and the text panel opens showing the ‘I am a text block . . .’ text, however when I change the text, it does not save.

I have checked the PHP on the hosting server (7.4.4) and disabled all the Plugins one at a time but this had no effect.

The latest version of WordPress and (updated) theme are installed.

I also have Classic Editor installed.

    Please can you help?
    Thank you, Chris

  • WordPress’ native block editor (aka Gutenberg) has a block named “PARAGRAPH” (not TEXT BLOCK), and it doesn’t show any “I am a text block” placeholder text.

It looks like this is from the WPBakery Page Builder plugin you’re using.

As this is a commercial plugin, we’re unable to install it and help you out.

This plugin likely came bundled with your Kalium theme (also a commercial product). If so, you’ll have to contact your theme’s vendor for help to resolve this: https://themeforest.net/item/kalium-creative-theme-for-professionals/10860525/support

(If you purchased the WPBakery Page Builder plugin separately, then please contact the plugin’s vendor directory for help.)

    Good luck!
