text at the end of the the_category link

Hi!

I’m trying to get the category link to output as on all posts listed on the homepage.

<a href="link">Catname <strong>Article</strong></a>

I’m using this: <?php the_category(” ); ?>

So what i’m asking is for a way to add a word on the end of the link generated from the_category.

I’ve been looking into this for the past week but no luck. ??
