Text area Jumpy and Buggy

  • I posted this over at Feedback and got no response. Since the latest update version 4, the text-edit area when in long files is jumpy. When I hit delete, or backspace or a number of other keys, the text jumps and my view is relocated up or done. I have to use control-f to find my place and resume typing. After the 40th time this gets very boring.

    While I like the new floating text/edit bar,the jumpiness of the page while in text mode is just ridiculous.

    Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to fix it?
    Ps I dont use the visual-edit area for a number of reasons so thats not an answer or solution for me.
