I’m seeing this notice: “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

Are you planning to maintain this product moving forward? I’m noticing several new glitches, particularly with Safari, and need to know if I need to find a different solution or if you’ll be updating this plugin. I really appreciate this product, so I hope it’s going to be updated and tested.

  • Hey @spierik,

Our plugin is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. We just have not updated the “Tested Up” tag.

We are currently not planning any major updates for a month or 2 and only going support. Once the virus issue settles down, we will work on updates and bug fixes.

If you are facing any specific issue with our plugin, then please share more details.

I have a couple of documents that just won’t download on Safari. On this page – https://holytrinity-hs.org/student-life/returning-student-registration/ – I have several downloads, as you can see. All worked fine except the ones labeled Financial Aid. Initially, I would get a network error for those. (The file size is smaller than some of the other downloads, FYI.) I deleted the files and re-uploaded; no luck. I deleted the shortcode and recreated it; no luck. I switched them over from forced downloads to Redirect to file, which is working now, but it is not my preference and inconsistent with the rest of the files on that page. Any idea what’s happening with this?

    Hey @spierik,

Can you please use the same file and create a new download and add a link to it on some test page and then share it with us?

    Hi there,
I just tested it again and it’s now working. Thanks for whatever it is you did!
