Testing Stripe Checkout not working… "Please Wait"

In testing mode, doing a checkout with Stripe gateway. I fill out the form with test data (numbers recommended for testing by Stripe), the “credit card” radio button is checked. I submit the form and nothing happens. The button at the bottom of the form simply says “Please Wait”
