Im testing this plugin out to assist with running an event. The live site has +2000 people on it. I can see from testing locally that these people (I have deleted the wordpress users list) despite not being subscribed on any list all count towards the total and therefore we would have to pay to test this on our live site. On our staging site Ihad to just delete the majority of users to allow me to test the functionality, obviously this won’t be possible on the live site. Is there any way around this while testing? Also this website is a charity in case that helps, perhaps you have a chairty rate?

    Hi there @naomispirit,

While there is no way to just “disable” the 1000 subscriber limit on the free plan/plugin for testing, you can mark subscribers as “Unsubscribed” and then they will not be counted toward the total. Only subscribers with “Subscribed”, “Inactive” and “Unconfirmed” status will be counted toward the total: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/294-managing-your-subscribers-list

Yes, we do! As mentioned toward the bottom of our plans page here, we provide a 20% discount for non-profits. If you would be interested in using the discount to purchase a plan, please reach out directly via our Pre-sales/Billing form here: https://www.mailpoet.com/support/sales-pre-sales-questions/

    Thank you!

Ok then I seem to be having an issue with my plugin. The only way I could add users via the integration Formidable Forms on my staging site was to delete actual WordPress users from the website until I had less than 1000. These users were not subscribed to any list. Does this indicate a problem?

    Hi @naomispirit,

The WordPress Users list?does?count towards the subscriber’s limit in MailPoet if selected.? However, the existing users with “Unsubscribed” status are not counted.

Can you double-check that you did not force sync this list by mistake? You can check it out by following this guide:

    Thanks!
