Testing Plugin

I’m testing out the plugin and it doesn’t seem to add pagination to the filter short code.
Here’s what I’m trying:
[pgaf_post_filter design="design-1" grid="2" limit="2" show_author="false" pagination="true" show_date="false" show_category_name="true" show_content="true" show_comments="false" ]

It shows a total of seven posts.
I thought it should only show two posts and then add pagination.
Is there something I’m missing?
