• Hello! I am previewing your plugin to use on a registration site for a teacher conference. I’ve been testing different plugins for several days, but yours is the only so far that allows me to have a single user register/buy several tickets all at the same time. While testing in my local environment in MAMP I am not getting the email notifications, and I am wondering if that is because of the local environment? Also, I see from your support responses that there is an issue with GoDaddy caching. I plan to install in a multisite hosted at WPEngine. Any known issues with multisite or caching at WPEngine? Thank you very much for your help.

I’m not aware of any issues with WP Engine, but I haven’t personally tested it in that environment, so my knowledge there is entirely based on the fact that nobody has told me about any problems! Most likely, it’ll be fine; but I can’t guarantee it.

There are two possible issues on the local environment: but if you’re testing with payments, then the problem is going to be that the email notifications are only sent after the payment gateway contacts your server and notifies it that the payment is complete. If you’re testing on localhost, the payment gateway will not be able to contact your server, and that notification will never be received.

If you manually mark a payment complete, or if you’re using offline payments to test, those email notifications should be sent, as long as your localhost installation is capable of sending email via wp_mail().
