    Hi.

    I love the idea of the plug in. As a big user of Page Builder by Site Origin I am a little frustrated by the need to use a template, I would rather see the functionality delivered through a widget.

    In testing I found that once I was able to get the cards to display, on a non page builder page I could not get the links to work from any of the layouts. I simply got a 404 page.

    Hi Phil – sorry to hear about that.

    Being able to add the card/grid/list view via a shortcode (and therefore in a widget) is actually on our roadmap for the next release – so it will be coming soon.

    One reason for the 404 page might be that you need to reset your permalinks (Settings > Permalinks – just hit save). Would you mind trying that and letting me know if it works?

    Thanks for the feedback. By changing the permalinks I have resolved the 404 page problem, however the only permalinks that work are the plain (1st option) so not very pretty in the address bar m- but it works.

    Hi Phillip – sorry to hear that. I’ve tested it with all different versions of permalinks and had it working – but will do some testing with more variety.

    By default the plugin should be trying to use a permalink with the title straight after the domain.

    so something like mydomain.com/title-of-the-card/

    Hi, yes the latest update did resolve the permalinks issue. As a devoted Page Builder by siteorigin user I really would like to see the functionality is a widget rather than only in a page theme. I am looking forward to the release when this is included, and have probably paused further testing till then. I am excited by the approach that you are taking, and I see it as having value in a much wider setting than that parish Church Websites where I do a lot of work. Thankyou

    Hi Philip – shortcode/widget is definitely on the cards – it will be coming probably in the next month ??
