testing after migrating site?

  • Hi, I just moved my site to a new host. Now I need to revamp it and test it before redirecting the dns.

    Could I change the permalink structure – make a few new posts and pages and only click them when testing? (otherwise I’m redirected to the old site of course, since I’m using pretty links).

    Wait – i still couldn’t navigate in the backend without landing on the old site which is still live? Can I turn on some kind of local mode architecture?
