testimonials_cycle random not working

  • With cycle testimonial and order of random, the testimonials always show in the same order.
    I have:
    [testimonials_cycle theme=”no_style” width=”99%” count=”-1″ order_by=”rand” order=”ASC” show_title=”0″ use_excerpt=”0″ show_thumbs=”0″ show_date=”0″ show_other=”0″ hide_view_more=”1″ output_schema_markup=”0″ testimonials_per_slide=”1″ transition=”carousel” timer=”7000″ pause_on_hover=”true” auto_height=”container” show_pager_icons=”0″ prev_next=”1″ display_pagers_above=”0″ paused=”0″]

    I am not on WP Engine and I do not have any caching set.

    If I change it to ‘[random_testimonial … ‘ they do show up in random order.

    My apologies for the delayed reply.

    If you use the Widget instead of the Shortcode, do you have this same issue? I haven’t had another report of this yet, but I’ll certainly be on the lookout for this to recur.

    Hello, random testimonial in the testimonial cycle doesn’t work as a shortcode. When I use the widget then it works well, but I need it as a shortcode. Is the possibility to repair that issue?

    I’m seeing the same issue. Testimonial Cycle set to order by Random does not work. I see them in order from first to last, but can adjust ASC and DESC. Please fix.
