    Hi There,

I’m using the shortcode to display a slider of testimonials on our homepage.

None of the testimonials have line or paragraph breaks applied. Any ideas on that?

    [testimonials_cycle theme="no_style" count="-1" order_by="none" order="ASC" show_title="0" show_thumbs="0" hide_view_more="1" testimonials_per_slide="1" transition="fade" timer="10000" pause_on_hover="true" auto_height="container" prev_next="1" use_excerpt="0"]

    Thanks!

    Hello!

Check to be sure you have the Content filter enabled, under our plugin’s basic settings. Not applying the content filter is a compatibility option we have that would certainly cause an experience like you describe.

    Hey Richard,

Thanks for the reply. I have the Content filter enabled but just did some more testing and think it has to do with a theme conflict. I’m using Make. If I include the shortcode in a vanilla page template there are no issues. If I include it in a page which uses their page builder the content filter is not applied.

I’ll take it up with them.

As a fellow plugin author I so can’t wait for WordPress to outgrow this awkward blossoming of page builders. I think they are great – but the sooner the platform becomes unified around best practices the better. They sure do clog up our support queue! And yours ??

    Best,
    Jason
