Testimonials Background Color

My site is using the Flatco 2.0 Theme, and I am not able to modify the background color of the Testimonials Element, regardless of the color I tell it to use. The container where the testimonials element is placed does not specify a background color. The element works well, but the white background looks boooring.

Any ideas?
