Testimonial pages displays 404 page after any plugin update

  • Testimonial pages displays 404 page after any plugin update. I have Wordfence installed and the auto update is enabled. To fix the pages I have to disable/enable the Testimonial Rotator plugin.

    What is the cause why the testimonial pages display 404 after the plugin update?

  • I’ve found that I have to update the permalinks to a different option, save, change it back, and save again. This always makes the links work again for me. Hope this helps!

    @jenwhitedesign . Thank you for your answer but the issue is that I have an auto update in Wordfence. When Wordfence updates automatically the testimonial pages displays 404 until I logged and disable/enable the Testimonial Rotator plugin to fix the 404 pages.

    I want to know why it happens so I can fix this issue so I don’t have to worry that my testimonial pages will display 404 every Wordfence update.
