• Hi there,

I was working on a TwentyTwentyTwo child theme using Getwid as companion for some blocks but I noticed that the Testimonial block is acting weird, like its css is not loaded at all:

that’s your block page about how it should look:
    https://getwid.getmotopress.com/blocks/testimonial-block/

that’s how is looking with TwentyTwentyTwo on my website

I noticed the issue while developing my child but it still persist when I try to use it on a clean installation with no other plugin and only the main TwentyTwentyTwo theme active (that’s where I got the screenshot posted here).

    Wordpress 6.0
    Getwid 1.8.2
    TwentyTwentyTwo 1.2

I also tried to roll back to previous versions of Getwid down to 1.6.12 with no luck.
Same behavior when trying to switch to all recent WordPress default theme: Twenty Twenty and Twenty Twenty One.

    Hello Nicola!

I would like to inform you that the plugin doesn’t provide any styles and design, it inherits everything from the active theme. So the Testimonials block may look different from our demo on other themes because of the missing styles.

In this case, I may suggest you get our free Getwid Base theme to be able to get the appropriate styles for this block from the style.css file.

    Thanks @eugenewhite, it’s clear now.

I already styled the block the same way you did on my own, it was pretty quick indeed ?? I just assumed the plugin demo website was showing the styles as out of the box, sorry!
