“Test your settings” admin form does not strip slashes

Everything installed correctly, and mail is sent. My test message contained an apostrophe and it arrived with a backslash in front of the apostrophe. Looking at the admin page code, it seems the $_POST settings/test mail data isn’t being passed through stripslashes().
